About the Unit

A small team with an outsized mandate.

The Ozone Unit sits within the Department of Energy and Climate Change Affairs at MECENR. We license and monitor the import of ozone-depleting substances and HFCs, support refrigeration and air-conditioning (RAC) technicians with training and certification pathways, and represent Seychelles at regional and international ozone forums.
